The Learning Community Urban Interaction Design at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences engages in the field of Urban Interaction Design. Urban Interaction Design is an emerging discipline that focuses on designing hybrid environments in which digital and physical experiences are intertwined. It requires a design approach from multiple perspectives. The aim of this Learning Community is to share knowledge and to develop new knowledge around the field of Urban Interaction Design that is useful for education, research, the professional field and society.

This project was initiated by Senior Lecturer Marjolijn Ruyg to bring students, creators, artists and designers into the discussion of urban futures.
